Pesce Balla is a laid-back venue that was founded on June 1, 2023, as an idea of the Ballarini Muzio family, who have been active in the restaurant industry since 1870.

Located at the harbor of Sestri Levante, it has a truly fascinating history.

It was originally built as a power plant in the early 1900s, later transforming into a silkworm farm, then a distillery (though it's unclear whether it was legal or not), before eventually becoming a restaurant thanks to the Branca sisters and their mother. They revolutionized Sestri by creating a trendy St. Tropez-style venue called "Gli Stanchi."

Later on, and up until just a few years ago, it was known as "Pescador"—a name that many still remember.

Everyone has taught us something, and today we want to offer a different way of dining out, allowing guests to choose their fish directly from the fish counter and decide how they want it cooked.

All the fish is on display, and sometimes you might even find something unusual, like the Kingfish, just to give an example.

We also offer pizzas made with the finest flours, generously sized, and prepared with the best ingredients, always striving for excellence.

There is a reason behind all this!

The main idea is that our dishes have been designed and crafted to be shared, creating a sort of communal dining experience.

Pesce Balla si trova alla fine della passeggiata mare a due passi dal "Carugio" la via principale del centro storico di Sestri Levante in provincia di Genova, a metà strada tra Portofino e le Cinque Terre, un borgo tutto da godere tutto l'anno, non solo d'estate.

Si raggiunge in pochi minuti dal casello dell'autostrada o dalla stazione ferroviaria, si trova sul mare, affacciato sulla baia delle Favole all'interno del porticciolo, a ridosso della zona pedonale e del centro storico, ricco di negozi e scorci caratteristici e a due passi dalla Baia del Silenzio.
