Don Luigi is located on the Sestri promenade.
The Don Luigi building or Casa Rossa as it is locally known, is one of the most beautiful buildings of this small town.
The architecture is unique with red bricks and characteristics of a small castle, including a castle like tower.
Due to it’s original structure, it has always been one of the meeting points of Sestri.
After a short period of closure, it reopened its doors in July 2021. With an entirely renovated kitchen, the interior design respected many aspects of it’s traditional past.
In addition to the interior dining area, there are three outdoor areas that allow you to choose between the tiny romantic Via Garibaldi street, the sea promenade and the beach front.
The kitchen offers a series of sea and land specialties, with traditional dishes.
Our "Sestri Focaccia", made with our secret ingredients, two very thin sheets of pastry and cooked in a wood oven are the masterpiece from Grandma Marina's recipe book.
With the collaboration of the Vinaccieri Ballerini, the menu includes a series of wines that range for everywhere and for every taste.
Emanuele and Javier are assisted by a team of young people who are always ready to give their best to you so that you have the best culinary experience possible.

As mentioned, the menu is essential, with a clear preference not only for “Seste” dishes but also for seafood specialties.
Must-tries include the Lawyer’s Calamarata, fish cold cuts served with schiacciata flatbread, fish ravioli, and traditional Genoese pasta like trofie and pansoti with walnut sauce.
Among the main courses: Portobello’s tegame with anchovies and tomatoes, the shrimp and vegetable tempura, the imperial prawn skewer, and much more...

Don Luigi is located on a seaside promenade a stone's throw from "Carugio", the main street of the historic center of Sestri Levante in the province of Genoa, halfway between Portofino and the Cinque Terre, a village to be enjoyed all year round, not only in the summertime.
It can be reached in a few minutes from the motorway toll booth or the train station, it is located on a promenade, close to the pedestrian area of the historic centre, full of shops and characteristic views, overlooking the Bay of Favole, a stone's throw from the Baia del Silenzio, the the most beautiful in the world.
